It’s Official

Today at 9am EST in Dearborn Michigan Mitt Romney announced his candidacy for President of the United States. Now the fun begins!

And a special thank you to the citizens of Massachusetts: You are paying all the taxes, creating all the jobs, raising all the children. This government is yours. Thank you for letting me serve you. I love this job.

I feel very deeply about the need to respect and tolerate people of different social-or sexual orientation. But at the same time, I believe marriage should be preserved as an institution for one man and one woman.

Our economy is on the move and we are creating thousands of new jobs, but we need to keep our foot on the gas pedal.

We reserve our deepest respect and admiration for those who volunteer for service and give their lives to help keep our nation secure.
